Twenty years ago in the town of Medina, Kentucky, Michael Yurley committed an unthinkable act. Brought back to Medina by a lawyer desperate for a win, Andrew must confront the place and people he fled, including a sister who rejected him for his blood betrayal and a mother destroyed by the loss of her family. The only thing Andrew isn’t counting on is striking up an unlikely friendship with a young girl, Beth, who, unbeknownst to them both, is his niece. That is, until she discovers the truth and decides to take matters into her own hands, attempting to heal severed ties. Her decision puts Andrew on a collision course with his estranged family, the actions of his past, and the very brother whose crime has burdened them all for two decades.
